how do i unlock a sidekick 3 to rogers?

I just purchased a locked Sidekick 3 (D-Wade Edition) and i want to use it with rogers. can someone give me steps on how to unlock it without paying a price?

dont tell me it cant be done because i know sidekick 2 and 3 owners who are using it with rogers and fido. its only phone and txting, but i dont really mind. however i heard from a friend theres a way to unlock the web browser and email now too, dunno if its true. thanks.
