They should send the settings OTA ( over the air), you never have to configure it manually.The number for settings is usually in the manual or service booklet, read it if you have one!

I received a new phone from abroad into Canada. Unfortunately, it does not have the GPRS settings for ROGERS, even though I am using the rogers sim card. Please Tell me the following info, which are required for the GPRS setting:
1) Home URL
2) Bearer (i.e. GPRS only or GPRS first or GSM only)
3) Proxy (enabled or disabled, if enabled what's the IP and the port? )
4) APN
5) Login I.D.
6) Password
