i work at electronic place where guy buys these pvr and hd boxes.. and does something with them and sells for 700 for hd ,900 for pvr.. he buys in bulk like 50 a shot..and always different name and pays cash only...I definitly knows that works.. But no on demand cuz thats two way cummunication. It could be a soft mod asswell. This guy will not give any more info about it..Hopefully this helps cuz i wanna find out same thing.

Just curious here...my landlords has somehow managed to provide us with a free Rogers cable feed...so I have the white coax cable going directly into my HDTV so I get basic cable for free...my friend brought over his Rogers HD PVR to see if I would be able to use it and it worked (I got all the channels he pays for)...if I was to get my friend to rent another PVR on his Rogers account and then hook it up to my TV would Rogers be able to trace that the PVR is not hooked up to a TV at his address.

How can I unlock a Rogers Explorer 3100 box.
I found it at the reciclyng room of my building and at the very first time I connectd it worked. but after I turned it on off and on againg. it i showing an UNAUTHORIZED box error.
