Other religion practiced in the UAE?

I know that in some emirates of UAE, practice of other religion is somehow tolerated (unlike in Saudi Arabia =c)

How open are emiratis (esp Muslims...just in case there are non-Muslims) with other people/foreigners practicing other religion?

What is blasphemous for the locals? (for all religion including muslims, that are practiced/forbidded in UAE)

Can people freely bring idols? cross? Bible?

Is there a particular religion that emiratis WOULDN'T approve of? (I have the feeling its Christianity...obviously) WOULD approve of? Why?

I would most likely have few questions more...but what do you think about it?

as a non-emirati .. i had this feeling be4.. i first went to uae in 2004 .. i went again there this year .. and i mean WOW .. this is a really developing country .. and everythin is changing in it .. they have more freedom more everything .. and christianity is well practiced... there are several churches in abu dhabi itself!! .. so if i were u i wouldnt care abt it that much .. its just another stereotype i guess..
