If religion was not involved in politics, do you think the republican party
would not have a message to use? I am a christian that voted for Obama. I can not believe the christians who bypass all rationality and bypass their own self interest because they think a candidate is more christian than another.
Obama is a christian!!!! I thought the issue was a wash but apparently not.
I live in Texas and christianity was the ONLY reason Mccain even got votes. These people around here even like Sarah Palin. WHY???? Because she is pro-life? That is beyond rational.
I actually think that involving christianity in the political process is non productive to the christian mission. It is dangerous. I will be a christian no matter who the president is.
40% of the country will vote republican just because of Pro-Life. All republicans have to do is distort their opponents position or just flat out throw votes out and they win!!!!! That is what happened with Bush. I hope it does not ever happen again!!!!
