How many athiests know more about other religions besides Christianity than the ones

that follow them? Which one appeals the most to them?
I am asking this question because athiests appear to be the greater number of visitors here.

Most of atheists didn't dig deep in the other religions . Most of them never read the whole Quran but they're content and happy with what they read against it , makes them feel good thinking that they're right .

I've been around, and I know history.
I like Buddhist, but feel the practical approach is more militant in rhetorical terms because religions use phenomenally militant rhetoric and someone has to draw a line.
I've never read any material written by famous atheist.
I'm to self reliant that way.

An Ancient Christian Taoistic Buddhism is close to truth.

I went to church up until the age of about 5 i think. I have never fully read the bible, i have not picked up a copy of the Qur'an and as for other religions i have not delved deeply at all... And that is why i am not worthy to qualify myself as an atheist.. yet.

No im not trying to idolise the plight of an Athesit i'm just saying: How can you call yourself the opposer of something when you know nothing about it? I think all these idiots should pick up a bible first and then make their decisions..

Like many, I'm better versed in Christianity because that's what I grew up with (I was a Christian myself until about three years ago).

Regardless of what we know or don't know about all of the different religions of the world, we can still be content with our lack of belief in gods because there is still no evidence to support them.

Scientology.

The idea that humans were put here by aliens or something is plausible and possible, whereas, Intelligent Design is not. At least we know traveling in space and cloning are real. Who's to say that aliens couldn't do that?

Now, the story of Scientology that L. Ron Hubbard made, with the funny named alien lord and all the other stuff I got from that Southpark episode is NOT plausible.

Non-theistic buddhism makes the most sense. being an atheist, I was curious about other religions so I researched for my own purposes.

Mostly I know about Christianity since its the one I grew up with.

I know less details about others, and tend to rebut them with broad concept arguments rather than being able to quote verses at them.
