Do you think our generation will see the return of Christ?

What will this Third Millennium bring? Will hatred and bitterness win out over love?
Or is love more powerful than evil?

What is the climax of the story of humanity? Will we see a happy ending to the story of man? Does a happy ending exist? Do our struggles have a beginning and an end? Do we suffer for no reason at all, or is everything recorded and monitored by our Creator? Does a snow flake fall to the ground for a cause? Are the pearls streaming from the face of the poor collected and stored? Or do they go unnoticed by a cold and impersonal world that we think is the only reality we have?

We see lots of injustice. Is there an origin of justice, or does it come and go with the wind? Is injustice the absence of justice, much like cold is the absence of heat? Was justice meant to be? Or does it come and go like the seasons?

All of your questions are answered in the Bible's Book of Revelation which states that Jesus will make not one but multiple return trips to rescue those He has chosen before His final return to establish a global kingdom in which justice, mercy and peace will be assured.

In reference to the timing of Jesus' first return, called the Rapture, this will occur when the Anti-Christ and False Prophet, which Catholic prophecy states will be named Peter ll, are in their respective offices.
The Christian faith has not been designed to create success or find pleasure in or even tolerate this world but rather to OVERCOME it!

The generation that was to see the return of Christ was Jesus' own contemporaries. There is no escaping this fact; it is written over 100 times in the New Testament.

Preterists believe Jesus returned to the early church in AD 70. This would fulfill Jesus' words of His generation not passing away before His return, including His desire for John to remain until His return. (Jn 21:22). They see Jesus as here already, reigning, but not in a tangible physical Kingdom, but rather, a spiritual, unseen realm.

Futurists believe Jesus postponed His Appearing 20 centuries, or more. There is no Biblical evidence for this at all. It is simply preconceived notions and physical expectations that cause them to see through the lens of unfulfillment.

You are quite the philosopher and it sounds like you will find the answers to your questions. I always say "Be the change you want to see in the world" because I believe with Christ reigning, and living within His saints, anything is possible. We have more power to change the world than we realize.
