    Christians, what is this theology?

Ok, so I believe that most of our lives is predetermined by God. We do not have permanent free will. But I believe God grants periods, intervals during which we have free will, although our future is still foreknown by God and God can intervene anytime. The duration of these instances is controlled by God. God grants these instances before (Jeremiah 18:7-10; Jonah 3:10) and after sinning (2 Chronicles 7:13-14).

Is this established theology (i.e. Calvinism, Methodist) or a new one?

What is the closest known theology to this that I may research it?

I don't know off hand, but you should start by asking yourself what evidence led you to believe this. Too many peope decide that "god is this way" or "god works like that" on their own. There is established dogma, yet people seem to believe whatever they want. I find that interesting.

If our future is known by god ahead of time, and he can intervene to help us "stay the course," why do you believe there is free will at all? Sounds to me like you refute yourself.
