Is it against Judaism to be a witch?

Well, I've always been interested in witchcraft, but I'm afraid I might be venturing to far away from my Jewish religion. Any of you have any input on this? Please, no bible verses. I could never comprehend those.

Take into consideration that I am not a full-on orthodox Jew. I'm not kosher and I don't attend temple regularly.

Witchcraft is consistently condemned in the Bible as evil because it is a satanic practice.

17 They sacrificed their sons and daughters in the fire. They used magic and witchcraft to try to learn the future. They sold themselves to do what the Lord said was evil. They did this to make him angry.

You said no bible verses but this is my authorization & it's pretty short & simple I think you can understand it's meaning.

GOD said in Exodus 22:18 You shall not suffer a witch to live.

This was the law given to Moses directly from God. This has never changed.

Yes, there is a commandment against practicing witchcraft and sorcery.

Whether you respect/follow that commandment, of course, is a matter of personal choice.
