Thread: Would you be offended if a guest at your wedding complained in a blog...?

about your wedding reception, stating the groom just wanted to party with his friends, the food was bad, and it was just a bad party in a blog?

He was a date of my maid of honor, and only came with her because her husband was unable to attend.

I just found a blog in which he wrote about my husband and his friends just wanting to party at our wedding reception and writing about guests doing drugs, the food being bad, and it being just a bad italian party...

I feel really offended by this, what gives this guy the right to write that about my wedding reception? He wasn't even invited directly by me...

Would you be offended by this or not? If so, what would you do?

Maybe he was bitter because your husband was not more attentive to his guests or that nobody shared the drugs with him. It is proper to bring enough for everyone if you are planning on bringing some.

Who gives you the right to say what this guy can or can't say? Who gives you the right to say what this guy can and can't feel about your wedding?

Since he wasn't directly invited by you, his opinion shouldn't matter.

Life is too short to be so concerned about what others think.
