Thread: Would you allow your child to argue with you?

If you gave a command and your child refused to obey, what would you do? What about if your child was utterly impertinent and said "BUT YOU do that! Why can't I???" What about when your children do things that are so completely damaging and hurtful to themselves? What is your view and take on this? What would be the appropriate response(s)? Would your decision be based on your belief or lack of belief in God?
