Thread: Women..How many of you have whined in GWS that good men are hard to find?

I'm talking men in the real world not GWS men.

Women again: How many men have you seen whining in GWS that women don't appreciate good men like them?

How do you account for this discrepancy?

I have never done so. I already found a good a man, and he wasn't too hard to find.

I'm a feminist who frequents the GWS forum. I don't think good men are hard to find. I have an amazing boyfriend and many male friends who are fun, interesting, good-hearted people. In addition, most of the men I meet on a daily basis seem to be perfectly nice as well, and if I got to know them better I'd probably discover great things about them as well. I think this is true of most men and women.

That said, out of the few people I have met that I seriously dislike, there have been more men than women. I hate macho jerks, but luckily I don't surround myself with them nor do I encounter them on a daily basis. People have an idea that feminists hate men, which isn't true at all. What I hate is the construction of both genders that our society has created in order to strictly define codes of behavior. If I meet a man who is obsessed with conforming to this hyper-aggressive, "tough" gender stereotype, I probably wont like him. But I realize he wasn't born that way, he was made that way by the constant bombardment of messages telling his this is the way a man should be.

Most of the girls and women who post here seem to be in relationships or else they prefer to remain single. I have never heard any of them whine. Now men on the other hand are always crying, "she done me wrong" blues, and thats why I hate feminists.

I wouldn't expect most of the GWS women to whine about finding good men because most of them are not looking for MEN.

Why would lesbians be whining about finding a good man?
