Thread: Why wont my car vents blow air? 10pts 4 answer!?

i have a 96 eclipse and the vents randomly went on and off every now and then for a few hours at a time, then it shut off and didnt come back on. im wondering what it may be, i push the AC button and i hear it kick in but no air blows through the vents. any help would be great thanks!

is the blower motor running??? u should b able to hear it...if not check the fuse......then the relay then replace it....

if it is then the vacuum hoses that operate the doors or the vacuum motor broke.....need to have them fixed...

maybe have paper stuck in the vent and is cutting off air flow.


check to see if someone closed your vents. stupid yes but it happens to the best of us.

blower motor going bad i had a 95 maxima do the same thing and i could tap on blower motor with wrench and it would work again until i turned off the car
