i know it's hard to listen to complaints, but i agree with the others you will be old one day also and you will find yourself complaining, although it gets annoying please love grandma for who she is and try to deal with her complaints she won't be here someday and you don't want to have memories of regretting complaining of her complaints
Many seniors do have aches and pains and as they get older they become more vulnerable to their weaknesses. Wait till you get there. You'll wish you'd shown some compassion.
At their decrepit state, what else can they do? They can sit down, watch TV, and complain. Maybe it's just a passive aggressive thing.
They really have nothing better to do. Go easy on grandma, you'll be just like her someday.
In general, people do not appreciate hearing complaints of being tired or not feeling well. But as people get older, they are more likely to be tired and/or not feel well. All you can do is remember not to complain yourself if and when it happens to you.
