Thread: Why is my 7 month old SCREAMING?

My baby has started screaming this really high pitched scream, and there are times she just does it nonstop. I am scared someone is going to call the city services in fear that I'm doing something bad to the baby! She just screams like there is no tomorrow. I checked her over, nothing seems to be wrong (no rashes, painful spots, uncomfortable things). Sometimes she stops screaming and just quietly plays or makes other kinds of sounds. Why is she doing this, and do I just ignore it? LOL A few times I said, "STOP!" out loud, but I seriously doubt she understands..when I tell her that, she starts laughing at me!

Did your baby screech too? And how did you deal with it? (First time mother here! =)

she's just discovering her voice and if she's screaming and goes straight to laughing in a second flat there's nothing wrong she just thinks it's fun...my son does the same LOL
