Why don't we all argue about the BCS for another year instead of developing a

playoff system? Hey gang!!! I have an idea...Why don't we all argue about what the BCS should do in the next few years? That way nothing will get done and we can fight about this again next year at the same exact time? Wouldn't that be fun?

dude get over yourself for all the complaining and groaning nothing can be done.

the bowl system makes too much money.

it allows fans to make one trip to a nice location in the middle of winter.

a 4 week 16 team bcs play-off is too long and too much

play-offs work in the minor divisions only because the play home games at one of the teams involved. the added last minute travel costs would eat up what money a lot of schools rely on to keep other non revenue sports at their schools running

HEY! The Georgia Bulldogs are the best team in the nation and they deserve to be in the championship game. It should be them and Appalachian State based on their schedules... DUHHHHHH.

JOHNNY M does have a good point with schools needing to save money for other sports teams but still , having who will be playing for the national title come down to voting is not fair. also being ranked in the pre season may make or break your season before it even started. Just look at this year for an example.

Its obvious BCS don t want to admit it, that they screwed up badly, by allowing bribery. The playoff system are in use in Division 2, and Division 1, why not NCAA, too ?

What does us arguing about it have to do with getting anything done? Do we have the authority to do anything> No. Do you know who the BCS is? I didn't think so. The BCS is the 11 FBS conference. That comprises all the teams in the FBS. The teams like it the way it is. The teams make a lot of money the way it is. The only things WE can do about it is not buy any tickets for the bowls and don't watch them on TV to lower the TV ratings. You, and we, won't do that though.
