Thread: why does my wife complain about EVERYTHING?

i am a retired u.s. army medic & a stay at home dad. i have 3 kids. 16 y.o. daughter, 11y.o. son, 7 y.o. son. i do all of the laundry & most of the the cooking. i seem to be "walking the line" for my wife. i don't drink, smoke, gamble, swear, abuse anyone, cheat on her or even look at porn. we've been married for almost 18 years & she complains all the time. "who used the last of the toilet paper & didn't replace the roll?" "why are there any clean towels in the downstairs bathroom?" "whose cup is this on the counter?" "who ate the last cracker & didn't throw away the wrapper?" stuff like that. i sometimes say "yes, dear" & fix whatever is wrong, but she still finds things to complain about.

Either everyone in the house is a lazy slob (that is a legit reason to complain all the time) or she is just unhappy w/ herself or she is just bored w/ her life.

So, everyone needs to stop being lazy slobs, give her time to work on herself, and hook her up w/ a nice vacation for just the two of you (or something else that might spice up her life).

She is a woman...mine does the SAME THING...CONSTANTLY....ABOUT EVERYTHING!!!!!!! Although, I do drink...marriage has caused me to drink...a lot.

No matter what you do, she's going to complain about somethin'. Your best defense might be to just accept it, give your "Yes dears" as often as you can, and just keep going thruogh life.

My thought is this. If you're so upset about someone not doing a job right, then do it your darn self. I wish your wife would do the same.
