Why does my daughter scream at night saying her legs hurt?

She only does this after playing outside, usually. Today she has been mopey and claiming she is sick. She is usually a very active 3 yr old but today and yesterday all she wants to do is lay down and have me massage her left thigh and knee. Also she has stated her stomach hurts. I do not have a doctor for her since I recently moved from one state to another. Do you have any suggestions?

This problem is easily answered its because her legs really do hurt , this is a prime example of waht we call in my profession lazyparenitus it where the parent of a child think ttat the child is trying to mkake stuff up just to mkae the parent do some parenting. I doubt this is a right diagsnosis for this case though unless you live in a council estate, maybe its the geology of where you have moved to i know when i moved the ground had chnaged from clay to granite this made a big difference. Trust me this is my field im a manager at walmart.

My legs hurt when I was younger to the point that I burned my knees with Ben-Gay. Call you health insurance or look online and find a doctor today then call on Monday and setup an appointment. This is painful and could be a symptom of something more serious. Because of the other symptom I would not wait past then. Get a doctor asap. Also call your old doctor and have her mail you her records to give to the new doctor. Get her seen now, not ER time, by a doctor. Good luck.
