Why do single moms complain so much?

I am so sick of hearing about the struggle at work, if they keep complaining, I am going to loose it!!! I know there are some unfortunate circumstances in life, but these aren't them. These are just silly young girls who don't want to file for child support, but keep complaining all the time about not having money, and that its too get public assistance. All i can say is be responsible for your life choices!
Of course I feel bad for widows and battered women, but not those who were too lazy to get some birth control and take responsibility for their bodies and lives!

Not all cases are the same, there are exceptions to every generalization!

Well it's go to know your not generalizing cause my father was killed when I was 7 and left my mother alone to raise all four of us. She did a great job! Single mothers or dads will always be at a financial disadvantage. LOL but I can sympathize with you every time I hear about the octomom! >_< Don't let it get to you. Peace

I've never known a single mother who complained about it.

To be fair, though, I've never known a single mother. Well, besides those who were widowed.

I agree most cases its just their bad decisions an they hate they have to live with it. An alot of times there is a father that wants the kids desperately but, can't get to see them because the mother always stone walling. The majority of single moms I seen have been ones that hooked up with a loser that everyone told her he was a loser. An they didn't listen till he dropped her. You get what you pay for.

That's a bit harsh. I don't understand why they don't file for child support - most women soon realise the necessity of doing that - childcare costs are extremely high.
Few women choose to be single mothers - most were in a relationship when the baby was conceived.
And being a working single mother is very stressful. I mean, here you are complaining about hearing it - try living it!
