Thread: Why do people think because they did something you should too? (small rant)?

I mean like when I told my cousin that my parents support me while I'm in school (it's not completely my idea but they want it that way so I can fully concentrate on my studies) she asked why can't I support myself and I said it 's because I'm a full time student then she said she worked 2 jobs when she was in college so I can too blah blah blah! I mean this isn't the only time she did something like this. She also did it my senior year in high school when I wanted to go to prom really bad and was upset that I couldn't go cause it was the same day as a family thing, she said well I didn't go to prom and I'm okay.

Why is it that people do stuff like that? Why don't they understand that people are different?

i hate people like that! what i do is just ignore it and just pretty much let it go.....i guess some people cant understand the fact that all people have different opinions and they think there's is better and they just want to make you feel bad about yours....it sux i know
