Thread: Why do people complain about prices to employees?

You see it everywhere you go, best buys, golf courses, walmart, restaurants. All it does is make employees miserable.

I couldn't stand it when I was in retail. It's not like your average employee will all of a sudden go to the GM about it and the GM will all of a sudden mark everything half price.

I understand that prices can be outrageous but there's no reason to ruin someone's day by b*tching to them about it who doesn't have the power to change it.
By the way, I know I'm complaining about complainers =)

I usually say so to register my complaint. But I also quantify it by adding that, "I realize you don't set the prices, but they are still terrible".
