Thread: Why do people always complain about windows vista?

I mean its not really that bad now, i know it was bad when it was first out (i know because i had it 3 months after coming out and nothing worked), but anyway, people are always complaining about it, but why?, because to be honest id rather have vista than xp, i had to go back to xp last week because i needed to re-install it but couldnt find the vista disk, and i hated windows xp, it looks so ugly!, and my mate said that his girls dad bought a laptop with vista on it and he installed xp on it, because "xp is more secure", but does xp have user account control?, i think not.

But anyway, Why do people not like vista? and why do they always complain about it?

and vista DOESNT mean

V - Virus
I - Intrusions
S - Spyware
T - Trojans
A - Adware

Vista would be an operating system.

and in my mates girls dad's eyes, not mine, to me vista is very secure.

Because Vista is a TINY bit slower than XP and the XP lovers exaggerate that a LOT just to make vista look bad.

Because they are determined to make a mountain out of a molehill. Vista WAS bad at first, as things always are, but there have been so many updates since then that it's really good now. Also, lots of people are weird and jump on the "open source" bandwagon, it's just a geeky following that will hopefully die out soon. Who cares whether something is open source or not, as long as it works?
