Why do men complain about signing up for Selective Service.?

Don' 't they realize its their responsibility to protect this country if something goes wrong. They also complain about women not having to. sign up. Well can men get pregnant? Who would look after the kids. Jesus. Why are men so stupid when it comes to this.
Just search this site for people complainng about Selective Service and about how only men need to do it.

why not stop being negative. they need a lot of support from others when in the military. people like this make it harder for them. I have never herd a soldier complain as why women don't have to. how is it just the men's responsibility, but you want equal rights with men? Women now a days try to put up this double standard and its so irritating because I am not that way at all.

I object to men being stupid comment. You are right men can not get pregnant but they are fully able to take care of children. I don't understand why men complain about signing up for selective service either. It is there responsibility. However, why is it not the responsibility of women to defend their country as well? The women's rights movement demanded equality. They should have the same rights and responsibilities of men. I mean a woman can not get pregnant with out sperm and that comes from a man. So if the men are complaining because the women should have to sign up too then they should complain.

1. i've never heard one single man complain about Selective Service sign up, so i guess it's the people you associate with.

2. So what that men can't get pregnant? There are plenty of women in the military and have supportive spouses that help look after the kids w/out complaint. i don't remember seeing a claus in my marriage license that said "All child rearing duties are hear-by assigned to wife undersigned"...tyvm.

I don't know what kind of men you are referring to. It may be that you should find another type of man to be around. I've never once complained at having had to do selective service or having served.

But I do wonder why so many people like to go to parades and wave the flag when they never bothered to serve. It's as if they think they deserve another holiday or day off of work so they can have a good time.

They are selfish and only ask what can this country do for them. Just my opinion

And I say for those complaining about women (especially the women), make the military completely Equal. Every reg, rule, and expectation.
