Why do gay men complain that they don't have the same rights to marriage as

straight men? When they do!!! They can both (gay men and straight men) marry one woman!!!!

Straight men can't marry more than one woman, and i'm quite sure some guys would like to do that!!! Does that mean that their rights are being denied there.

Us humans, in the USA, have the right to marry one person of the opposite sex. WE ALL HAVE THIS RIGHT!!!

A gay man and a straight man can BOTH CHOOSE to marry one woman, so why do gays complain that they don't have the same rights as heterosexuals?

Straight men can marry their partner in life and love--gay men can't (in most states). There is a huge difference! =D

Either you are really stupid or are just trying to be funny (which isn't working).

Being a GAY man means you like MEN, not woman.. do you understand, or was that too many words for you?

    You are so smart.

So we should change the laws to every man can marry one other man? (And make it so that whole "one man and one woman thing" would be ancient history).

Yeah, that would be great. Then all men would be treated equally.

Great idea! Can't wait to give you credit for this...

Incorrect. If YOU had the same rights of a gay man, you would be able to marry another man, but not a woman, just as a gay man can only marry someone he is not attracted to in that way (a woman). You can marry anyone who you love, a gay person cannot. You're thinking in terms of "Model Ts come in any color you want, as long as you wanted black."

OH FOR THE LOVE OF-- Thank you for completely missing the point!

Gay men can marry a woman, true. But, they are gay, as in: NOT INTERESTED IN WOMEN. They love men, so it's only logical to let them marry who they love. Don't straight men marry who THEY love, or is this some new weird thing I ain't never heard of?

    Edit:
    Steven. Atheists marry, too.

You forgot one thing: Gay men don't love women in that way. Straight men do.

I also notice you mention nothing about gay women here.

You, as a straight man, think this isn't a problem because you can marry who you love-a person of the opposite sex. Gays & lesbians cannot. How about you walk a mile in my shoes & YOU are unable to marry your wife/gf because you're opposite sex? But you have THE SAME rights as a gay person to marry the same sex! Why are you complaining?

And even when we CAN marry or enter into a state sanctioned union, our government doesn't honor our relationships as they would for any other state sanctioned union (marriage). What's up with that?Would you rather us marry a hetero, go through the motions & end up depriving that other person the true love, companionship & relationship that they deserve within that marriage?

Until the feds start to honor ALL state sanctioned unions equally, gays will continue to fight for their state sanctioned relationships to be recognized by the feds, just like the feds recognize marriage (which is ANOTHER state sanctioned union.
