Nobody coerces money out of me through taxes to pay for professional athletes. This response won't mean anything to you unless you comprehend the difference between freedom and coercion.

I didn't see Obama complaining with all of the high paid sports players in the White House for his photo ops

The marketplace determines the salary. To tie salary to amount of work, or benefit to society, is a fool's game that liberals love to play...and cannot seem to get past.

Perhaps if teacher's were not paid by government and allowed to get paid according to their ability as well as be fired, then you would see salaries rise and our children will benefit.

I haven't complained about teacher's salaries.. but there is a huge difference.

I don't pay an athletes salary, but I do pay for a teachers.

Sports players aren't paid with taxpayer's dollars. Teachers are.

Because taxpayers don't pay athlete's salaries. Isn't this question pretty easy to answer? You really didn't know that?

Obviously the best athletes deserve rewards, they earn them for their owners.
Teachers produce nothing, earn nothing for the school, and deserve nothing!

If teachers did their jobs half as well, they might deserve a raise. As it is graduating high-school at an 8th grade reading level is not only ridiculous, it is sad. They should all be ashamed of themselves. They shouldn't even be allowed to call themselves "teachers".
