Thread: why do black people still complain about slavery?

their were more asian slaves in the us than black slaves but you never hear a word from the asians that live here today!

look i think slavery is wrong and i wish it would of never happen!

Good, relevant question. Because they still feel there is inequity in the nation maybe? Or because there are still racists out there who think it should still be legal? As horrid as slavery was I do not think it is an unfair statement to say, 'get over it' let alone the fact no one is alive who actually saw those days.

They do? No one's complained to me about slavery. They probably brought it up to explain the reason for differences between white and black people. This isn't complaining though.

Did they sound like this:
"I'm so sick and tired of all this slaveryyy." or
"I hate that slavery happened"

What asian slaves? You mean the coolies in the caribbean? There were black slaves there too and they were treated the worse. What blacks complain about slavery? I have never heard of that. I've heard of them discussing slave mentality but not slavery itself
