Thread: why do american whine during the Olympic when they lose?

like in gymnastic. complaining about scoring system and age

Ok I think it has to be clear that not all Americans are sore losers, it's just that they are over-represented on this forum.
And not all Americans think that a bronze is the same as gold and that it's the total # of medals that should determine ranking.

i think americans think that the olympics is about them and they should win everything and damn the world if they dont. they complain about the age of athletes. if 3rd world athletes sweep track and field they must be on steroids. never mind that phelps swept swimming but oh no the swimming god is just talented and brilliant no possibility of a lil "outside" help. i hate the attitude of the american media machine they are so damn ethnocentric. well this yr america is being shown that they will not dominate everything...let them whine all they want.
