Thread: Whom do I complain if my website design is stolen?

Please help, two websites have stolen the design from my website. They're perfect copies.

But what about the source code, I've got it..

How will you prove that which one made first. They may claim that you have stolen their idea.

The person who stole them...no one else say you copywrighted them and your willing to press charges if your design is not removed from the site...yyou an do a who is search to firgure who owns the site and there phone # address and email etc.....unless they did private domain regitstation...hope that help...oh it doesn't really have to be copyrighted just say so..

It depends on whether or not it is copyrighted. Even if it is, there is only so much you can claim as for the design itself, because the code is sent to the user's browser in the end.

Do the take down notice. It really has an impact if it is on attorney letterhead. In the meantime, you need some evidence that you did not steal the design from them.
