do something nice that might help her calm down.Tell her u know how she feels.

How about being a friend and letting her vent? You can be straight up with her and TELL her, nicely, that she's welcome to "complain about her day" but she isn't allowed to "take it out on you."

play the guilt card and make her feel like crap. or just smack her. up to you

wow you dont slap her. tell her that she is welcome to tell you all her problems but to not take her problems out on you. if she does open upto you it will make you relationship stronger then is was and she willbe able to trust you more than she did.

It sounds crazy but take that as a compliment.
She feels comfortable talking to you and expressing her feelings to you.
Dont take it personal, she is just venting

Find out what happened in her day to make her feel upset and listen, dont get an attitude eventually she'll come around. Thats what you are there for as best friend and confidant

Sounds like U R a very patient man because I think the way this usually goes is the guy eventually says, "Shut up or I am going to shut you up." And of course the woman obsessively keeps complaining, and wham.

Most likely she is getting her period and has PMS, what U need is someone to go to until it passes over. There is no reason you should suffer because someone doesn't have the self-discipline to act decent.
