Thread: What should I do when my dog whines?

My family and I are quite busy, now that the summer is ending. However, that doesn't keep my 3-month old Maltese from whining all the time.

After about 3 minutes we put her into her cage, she starts a high pitched whining every single time. I feel really bad and I want to play with her, but I'm just too busy during the day. What should I do to ameliorate this whining or even eliminate it alltogether?

well for a start shes a puppy. all puppys cry because they want attention.
just ignore her and she will get used to it.
