Thread: What do i do when my child constantly screams at me?

My 1 year old child constantly screams at me - not just to get my attention but even when he has my full attention. Also, he screams in his carseat for every journey.

Discipline.. Yes it's early to discipline your child but at least he will learn to be respect others

Ignore his screams but make sure he's all right them tell him you will come back and see him when he's stopped screaming and go into another room or get super nanny to sort him out.

When your child screams at you then try to completely ingnore them...no eye contact, no touch or anything. When they talk to you normally then praise your child and engage in good conversation and play. Hopefully soon they will learn to understand that shouting gets them no where. Also, the car seat....is it in the back of the car? My Daughter loved to be in the front sat next to me, she hated it in the back.
