Thread: Are we really in tough times? Why are Americans not complaining about gas prices?

Not enough Americans are complaining and it just seems to get worse. I guess I would assume that people are making good money. Tell me about your thoughts. Btw I miss Bill Clinton when gas prices were reasonable and I hope Hillary takes it.

I agree that the economy is ridiculous, but I'm more upset about food prices than gas prices. Food prices have gone up by like 35% this year--THAT is ridiculous.

I'll probably get stoned for saying this, but I'm actually kind of glad the gas prices have gotten so high. We seriously need to get used to getting off oil. Global warming aside, oil dependence is our single biggest political liability. And it's running out. The Saudis have triple the number of oil pumps running, and their production is still declining.

Anyway, yes, I miss the good economy, but gas prices aren't my #1 issue.
