    how many percent women get stitches in vaginal childbirth?

    1) i want to know that what is the ratio of woman who get stitches in vaginal childbirth? and how many stitches in number?
    2) how long after her stitches wound heels and she ready to have sex?

    3) should i use condom after her 6 weeks?

    I tore with the birth of my daughter, but nothing major. I did have to have stitches though 14 in total, and all on the inside. Every woman is different. And there is no telling if a woman is going to need stitches after a birth until it is over with. As for the healing and such, When I got my first regular period back after the birth of my daughter "9 weeks post" My doctor gave me the ok for sex. With the use of condoms.
