what is a "true atheist? There are many things that can bring you to atheism: rationalism, skepticism, sceintific dissonance, emotions, dissonance between evil and an all knowing all powerful god, etc.

And many Atheists will say that Atheism is the Belief there is no God, the lack of belief, the refutation of a judeo christian god, a personal god, all things magical, all things metaphysical, afterlife, souls, etc and various combinations of these and many more.

I believe there are only different meanings of atheism, and different types of atheists but at what point does it become a matter of "true definitions?"

For example: There are Atheists who "reject God" and atheists who believe god(s) don't exist. They are very different and the two will not agree on much but both will profess atheism and fit very literal definitions of atheism.

However, when do you reach the point when you are trying to call a Buick a bird?

What is the future of Atheism? What is the true current definition that hasn't been expressed by dictionaries yet?
