Is it right to complain about your coworkers' constant tardiness?

I have coworkers that are consistently late every day - ranging from thirty to fifty minutes late and occassionally even two to three hours late. It got to a point where it was making me very uncomfortable and upset that they a) never were apologetic about it and b) were never held accountable for it. So, I asked (very politely) for my supervisor to maybe discuss this issue with them. Now, I found out they have been spoken to by our boss about timeliness - and although this is good, I can't help feeling guilty for complaining about their habits. I feel like they know it was me that originally said something and now they may resent me. Still, I don't really think i was out of bounds. Was this the right or wrong thing to do?

Since it was affecting you, then it was right to say something. Also, since they never really cared about it anyway (also, what if they were paid for the time they were supposed to be there instead of actually were there?), and since it's good business practice to arrive when you're supposed to, I don't see a reason why it was wrong to talk to your supervisor about it.

Sadly, if the coworkers do know it was you who complained, then they still might be mad that you spoke up about it. But the reason they are mad is because they were not following proper job procedure and were called out on it, and it doesn't really have to do with you because it is not your fault they were consistently late. It's better that the problem was addressed before it got really out of control.
