Thread: Repairing Scream Vocals?

i had an amazing hardcore scream which i have mastered over about 3 years of practice... but recently i got a band opportunity, we practiced 3 times in a row (days) and each time i got horse, and it hurt.. because i pushed alot.. and then we had a show.. and i lived off of cough drops, and before the show, my scream had become completely gone.. and now my vocals are a disaster area, its only been about a week since the show.. but i can sing better now, but my scream vocals arent even possible, will they come back?? its never been this severe before! ive been drinking alot of tea and water.. what can i do to get my scream back completely within about 3 weeks to a month?

Don't worry, it WILL come back. Just depends on how long. If you pushed it really hard, it could be a few months before it's completely restored. I heard somewhere that fruit juice is also good to drink for this kind of thing.
