(rant)You make people my age sound so...?

All of these 14 year olds posting "does he like me" questions and whatnot - you do know how immature you sound? It almost makes me ashamed to be the same age as you all, I know you're just wanting answers but seriously I'm not seeing the need.
I'm probably just annoyed because it makes me sound like I act that way too.

    PEOPLE WHO SAY WE CAN'T UNDERSTAND LOVE;
Shut the fuck up. I've been through all the "love you" crap and not meant it when I was like 11 (although I thought I did once but that's 'puppy love')
I know what love is, some young people do so i'm not seeing why you have to be harsh and say "You don't know what love is" when someone asks a question

This wasn't an actual question, just more of a rant, but if any fourteen year olds feel the same comment or something... Anyone comment positive or negative i'll retaliate back to your answer if needed...

    -long.
10points for...ANYONE who has an answer I like.

To 'me.' -Yes I do and I don't need you to point that out for me and by anyone I meant anyone who had an answer I liked.

My point is on the whole pupply love thing is that i've had puppy love, "crushes" and now i'm in with what I think is the real thing but I don't know/you don't know if it's the real thing for me, i'm still maturing so we'll just see about that..

    - oh and my boyfriends 3 years older...and he does want to wait until i'm legal for sex so none of your "rape" remarks.

im only 20, but i have a career, house and gf of 5 years. When i was 12 i had a girlfriend(ex now obviously) and i was absolutely crazy about her. I thought i was in love and NOTHING could change my mind. I have heard the "you dont know what love is" at least 100 times and it used to piss me off too...But i will say this...Love isnt wanting to spend the rest of your life with him...Its accepting his faults and learning to deal with them and live with them...Ive lived with my gf for 2 1/2 years now and im STILL understanding what love is....Of course we went through the puppy love stage, worked past it, had hard times, worked past those, and now are happier than ever....And by happy i dont mean texting i love you every 2 minutes or HOURS of long phone conversations, i mean the understanding that we have that we will be together forever and NOT change either of our faults, but learn to love them.

Im not saying you dont knwo what love is, and if you do i think thats great. Dont be ashamed of being 14 because you read these, as its VERY normal for younger teens to think its love. Let them learn the way everyone else has, by living life, growing up, and maturing enough to finally understand..

I'm old and I just feel sorry for kids who are raised by controlling parents to be so dependent they have a desperate need to be in a relationship, to feel like they belong in the world by belonging to someone else, and instead of pursuing their dreams they give everything up for another person, someone surely not worthy or capable of such attention.

I'm not fourteen, I'm older, but I can see what you're trying to say. Young adults are blinded by television and the latest songs. They're made to believe that we have to have a boyfriend and we have to do one thing or another. It's brainwashing us. Young adults see people like Miley Cyrus and think that they should act like her. (that was just an example) At your age, girls don't have to go out there and get a boyfriend. I've seen girls 14 and below dress with stomach's showing and wearing the shortest pants or skirts possible. It drives me nuts. I don't know how some parents don't see that. Love is not meant to be defined that way. Love is not going out there and looking your worst just to try to fit in and hook up with someone. Love is much more than that.

I'm 18 years old, and honestly, I don't believe that you don't understand love.
Most of the time us "older kids" say that to "younger kids" who say they've been going out for 3 days and that they love each other.
That's not love, it's infatuation. The thrill of being in a new relationship.
We all do it, even us older kids as we come into a new relationship.

I believe you when you have said that you have loved. My first love was when I was 15; he was 18 (bad idea).

I just don't like the questions that younger people ask saying "Does he love me?" when it's sort of an obvious answer (yes, he LIKES you OR no).

Do you know how immature ranting makes you sound? haha.

And you can't give 10 points to everyone. You can only pick ONE best answer.
