The puppy is whining all the time, it is not to hot and not to cold and there is

nothing wrong phisically.? It whines when it sleeps and when it is awake. It seems like it is eating ok. The mom seems to be scared of it, she trys to confort it but gives up because it never stops whining. It only stops for very short periods of time then starts right back. What should we do? Please Help!!!!

it could just be craving more attention or it is bored... try playing with it more, and giving it lots of toys!

Call your vet or any vet and ask what could be wrong if anything is, maybe it just likes to make that noise for comfort reasons. When they're asleep it usually means they're dreaming, I don't know about when it's awake.

how old is the puppy? if it is still nursing age then check mom and see if she has milk. i had this happen with a new litter and they kept crying not from cold and mom tried to care for them but in checking mom i found she didn't have milk. i had to hand raise 8 Siberian Husky puppies.

if she has milk and pup is nursing maybe she isn't stimulating them to potty, that's why moms lick pups bottom so much. you will need to take a warm damp wash rag and gently stroke the pee and poop areas. puppies can't potty on their own for a while.

if it is none of these things you need to get the pup to the vet. asap.

Have a vet take a look. Or it could just be a whiney puppy. Just how old is it? If it's still with mom it can't be too old.

Monitor & make sure it is latching on, and getting enough to eat. You may want to do a bottle feeding, and see what happens. Condensed goat's milk mixed 50% with water, and warm, but not too hot. No regular milk!! Do not feed puppy on it's back, as it may aspirate or get fluid in lungs. Make sure it stays warm!! If you are feeding make sure to rub private areas with warm, wet rag so it will go to the bathroom.

    Best of Luck!
