Thread: A parent screaming and swearing at his children. What can I do to stop this?

I live in an apartment and on the apartment on the first floor right under mine lives a family with two children (a boy and a girl age 8-10 approx.) and their grandmother. Their father as my title suggests is very abusing and he is also an alcoholic. He screams so much and bangs on the furniture and the walls that I can clearly hear him from my appartment. The way he swears at his children is disgusting.

Needless to say, his behaviour has damaged his children profoundly. They imitate his habit of screaming and swearing, they do not listen to their mother and they seem to play violently as I can hear them banging on the floor and the walls. This happens every day (their playing) and during noon so it is also aggravating for the other residents who are trying to relax.

I think that something should be done about it, but I have no idea at all what I should do. I am posting in the Greece section, because I am living in Greece and I thought that greek citizens should know better.
