Thread: One of our ceiling air vents was found lying on the ground and broken?

We have a ceiling air vent and my friends were over at my house having a sleepover and sometime during then my dad came down and found it on the ground broken. Everyone said they don't know how it got there. I know my friends didn't touch it but today my dad told me he was 100% sure they touched it but they aren't even tall enough to do that. I am certain they didn't touch it. Anyways, they came over again today and it was a little loose. That bathroom is only really used when they come over but I'm certain they didn't touch it. What could have happened if they didn't touch it? I couldn't get a picture but it is round.

It shouldn't fall out even if it was touched.... just needs to be replaced so that it isn't so loose. I'm sure your local hardware store has any part needed and nothing's expensive.
This kind of thing happens quite often.
