Thread: Once Bush is gone, will the troops complain or rebel more in Iraq and Afghanistan?

Especially given the odds that Obama will be the next president, it seems likely that any military personnel that have been holding their tongues will finally be free to speak without worrying about the response from the administration.

What do you envision might happen?

The real problem wouldn't be George Bush he is just the pawn behind the true reason of the Iraq War its basically those behind the scene. Research you will see what I mean.

They may cheer for President Obama.

He is the only one to promise to bring them home

If McCain prevails we may all find out. There is no way to continue our occupations of foriegn countries AND fight the new war the right is itching for without re-starting the draft

There is a discipline in the military that people who haven't served may not be aware of. They may think it, but not say it.
Nothing will change. Whoever is the CIC is the boss, and the military will do its job.
