My mum feels like she's arguing with me?

Even when I'm not in the same room as her.
She yells, quite loudly, mostly threats like, "I should've strangled you when you were a baby, when I had the chance," or "I'll take that laptop and smash it", etc.

It's usually after a real argument, but when its over she stomps to her room and rages to herself for about thirty minutes afterwards. I'm afraid the neighbors would complain about the noise.

Is she going mental from old age? Stress? Or does my mum just hold really long grudges?

Same here with my mom too. :/ I think she's just stressed out, because of all the trouble we give her. Also mom cooks a lot and washes dishes all the time. If no one helps her, she gets pissed off really bad. So I suggest maybe let her sleep or take a rest for a few days or so, and wait til she gets calm, and then ask her if she has anytime to talk, and everything would be fine, hopefully. Usually takes my mom 1-4 days to calm herself down. Good luck!
