Thread: my life partner has asked me to help her stop spending frivalously,but each time

i try,i get whining from her. i ask "do we really need this?" when it's something other than neccessity,and she always pouts and says "but i want it!". i'm sick of it. how can i make her see that she's asking me to do the impossible if she's just going to whine til she gets her way?

it sounds like she wants to be treated like a kid in this aspect. Maybe you have to try a flat out NO next time instead of asking her? If that doesn't work then you should sit her down and tell her why you can't help her if she isn't' willing to help herself.
