Thread: My dog wont stop whining when hes in the cage at night....?

i been trying to have my puppy sleep in the cage at night but he keeps on whining in which i cant sleep then..i always have water in there n a toy that he likes to play with, see i use to keep him tied up by me at night with his bed, n i think its cuz he got use to sleeping by me at night, but the thing is he likes to bug me by trying to play or he gets into things. i dont know what i should do i really want him to be in the cage at night...i got him a big cage for him to move around it but he refuses to sleep in it... can anyone help me plz
im a very light sleeper so i hear everything so its hard to ignore him

the cage is at the end of my bed

Put the cage in a different room.
When he cries and whines, don't go comfort him and talk to him. He needs to learn that is his sleeping quarters and its bedtime.
