My cat for no reason let out a blood curdling scream. He does not even meow...

...much less scream? He is 11, not at all verbal, calm, quiet and never a problem.

Indoor only cat. Is now very calm and quiet. I felt all over his body and did not notice any reaction from him. Am extremely concerned.
