Thread: my 8 month old son screams?

he screams at the top of his lungs and when i tell him to stop he just laughs, even if i look cross. i dont know wot to do to get him to stop. the minute he hasnt got my full attention he starts. any ideas?

Just ignore him. He's just trying to get your attention. I bet he'll stop when he realizes you're not going to pay attention. He's at an age where he needs to learn that there are ways other than screaming to get your attention.

He's 8 months old - he NEEDS your full attention! That's what babies do!! Could you try and distract him with some toys? You can't spoil tiny babies like this, so just relax, be a great mum and lavish all the attention he wants on him. He won't be a baby for ever! Good luck!!
