Thread: My 4-month-old Lab won't stop whining at night!?

This is a recent development. She is crate-trained, and up until about 2 nights ago, had absolutely no problems sleeping in it. Even the first night we had her, when she was 9 weeks old, she didn't cry. Anyways, she just cries and barks all night. We are losing a lot of sleep over this. We haven't changed anything. Food, playtime, everything is the same. I am even home with her all day long, so she's not normally crated during the day. She even has a dark blanket over her crate, the same one she's always had. We tried moving her to our bedroom, she still cried. She has been able to hold pee and poop in all night since we got her (never had a crate accident), so we know she can. So what's the deal? Anyone know why she is doing this and how we can stop it?

she could be lonely or needing the toilet. i dont know wot else it cud be. try ignorin her if she whines cos she cud be doin it 4 attention.
