my 16 week old pup whines every morning at the same time?

we wake up at around 6 AM every morning...even weekends because she whines...

we have two dogs (both yorkie terriers), my female is 16 weeks old and my male is 11 months old...

he never did this and so now we wonder if we are feeding her neediness...

okay so we (my husband and I) get up at around 6AM...i usually go down stairs and let the dogs out to do their business and feed them -- they are blocked in the kitchen during the night and when we are at work...with a crate and bed to sleep in with toys, food, and water...

if we sleep in for just a few more minutes past 6 (usually on weekends) she will whine and cry for us to get her out...

    how can i stop this....????
she's paper trained and has some puppy pads in her area so she can do her business in the night...since it can happen....

By getting up at 6:00 during the week, her internal clock says it's time to get up. She doesn't know what day it is. She may be ready to go to the bathroom, or may just hear your alarm.

You might try something like a radio that comes on a couple minutes before you get up, and let her get used to that, and then change it on the weekends, a little at a time.

    Best of luck.

When ya gotta go, ya gotta go!

Can you let her out and then put her back to bed so you can get a little more sleep?

    Good luck!
