Thread: It's time for a rant, ladies and gentlemen?

I want to know, for atheists and people of faith. What is it that you believe of current events today? A black president, Proclamation 8 and racial tolerance. Please feel free to rant to your fullest extent and power, just please don't hate on other religions.

As for a black president I'm glad. Now maybe the black people of America will shut up about discrimination and equal rights.

Prop 8 is a joke. What right does the government, or anyone for that matter, have in determining a person's happiness?

Racial tolerance? I have no problems with other races until they bring up how they are being mistreated, discriminated, etc. Please, in today's world we are all discriminated in some way or another. It will never go away as long as there are people who look different, sad to say. However, by continually talking about it and pushing the issue tends to put us back instead of moving us forward. People need to stop whining and complaining and start helping themselves.
