precautions.? Her daughter is 6 but she is small in size. She already has to step on a stool to reach the sink/counter and stove.

I won't let her use knives with sharp edges and especially a pointy end and definitely not a large chopping knife. I do that part myself.

When we use the wok to cook in, I won't let her put ingredients in if it's hot with a lot of food in it already or stir it. It's huge and she could easily fall into it or splah hot food on herself.


Well, my friend is annoyed that I'm treating her daughter like a baby, telling me to let use learn how to use the stuff. This is also coming from a friend that has never learned to cook herself. Her husband (who agrees with me about the safety precautions) can only cook very simple food or just buys takeouts so I'm the one who cooks for all of them.
